Kelly Malenya is a lawyer currently doing his Pupillage at the firm of CB Mwongela & Co Advocates. He holds a law degree from Moi University School of Law and has successfully completed the classroom instruction and examinations from the Kenya School of Law and Council of Legal Education respectively. He has interests in litigation, research and human rights and has done various projects at the Kabarak Law School Centre for Jurisprudence and Constitutional Studies. He also contributes on topical legal issues in the Nairobi Law Monthly. In 2015 while doing internship at the Kenya Human Rights Commission ‘KHRC’, he was part of the team that developed the KHRC litigation strategy.
